The Van Yard was established eight years ago after initially successfully trading under the name Chesterfield Vehicles.
Chesterfield Vehicles was a multi-product site selling cars, vans and plant from a rented site on Sheffield Road, Chesterfield.
As time moved on, the same questions and enquiries for good quality affordable vans kept appearing so the directors decided to focus and… The Van Yard was born!
The first requirement was a larger yard to allow ease of access from the smallest bipper to the largest Luton, so the site on Chesterfield Road, Arkwright was acquired. This acquisition gave roots to the company and has helped it flourish.
Being two minutes from the M1 motorway means we are exceptionally accessible. We are open 6 days a week, 9am till 5:30pm, so there really is no excuse not to come and see us!
